Our Philosophy
Roll it, crawl it, walk it...THE LINE!
Walk the Line is a physician directed, intensive, activity-based training program with a focus on weight and load bearing exercises designed to facilitate recovery of function following traumatic spinal cord injury.
Principles of training include: crawling and walking, developmental sequencing, neuromuscular facilitation, muscle tone normalization, dynamic coordination activities, repetition and variation of tasks to drive central nervous system reorganization/learning.
The majority of Walk The Line activities are performed in a weight bearing position. We use two trainers for each client during most sessions in order to ensure personal safety and maximum benefit of activities. All Walk The Line trainers have extensive experience in spinal cord injury recovery training.
