Physical Therapist
Mary Roberts, BS, PT, DPT
Mary Roberts graduated from Alma College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Science. She then attended Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2007. During her time at Northwestern, Mary pursued her research in Spinal Muscular Atrophy, worked closely with professionals at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and studied under several nationally renowned professors. Upon graduation, Mary accepted a clinical position as a rotating physical therapist for the University of Michigan Health System. During her employment there, she had opportunities to work in several different settings including the neurological, pulmonary, and oncology units at the University Hospital as well as the Spine and MedRehab clinics in the outpatient realm. From her studies, clinical internships, and work related experiences, Mary developed a passion for treating persons with neurological disorders. With this, Mary has become dedicated to improving the lives and physical function of thosewith neurological injury.
