Matt received his B.S. in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Cincinnati in 2014 and followed up with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Dayton in 2017. During his tenure at the University of Dayton Matt served as a biomechanics tutor, and received awards for research he performed in as well as the award for his class for clinical excellence. Matt consistently works on increasing his knowledge in areas of biomechanics and neurology to incorporate into practice, as well as plans to perform research in related fields to increase the field of knowledge.
Taylor Behn, PT, DPT[email protected]
Taylor completed her undergraduate degree at Central Michigan University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology. After graduating from CMU, she furthered her education at Oakland University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. While completing her doctoral degree she presented on topics including; neurological examination in the acute care setting and varying treatment approaches for individuals with Parkinson’s. As well as conducting and presenting research pertaining to physical activity for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis. Following graduation, she accepted a position with Beaumont Health in an outpatient orthopedic setting treating a wide variety of individuals with post-surgical, sports injury, and common musculoskeletal impairments. Taylor started at Walk The Line in January of 2017. She feels that joining the team at WTL has given her the opportunity to merge her passion for neuroscience with helping people reach their goals to improve function. Taylor enjoys the daily challenges set by the team and clients to push conventional limits to achieve progress and further recovery. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Jody Lee, D.P.T, C.L.T[email protected]
Jody graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a BS in Movement Science. She continued to further her education at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA where she received her doctorate in physical therapy in 2005. Jody then spent the next 6.5 years at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. At JHH, she was able to work with a mixture of clients across the age spectrum with varying rehabilitation needs. Her main focus was with the pediatric population and working with people having pelvic floor dysfunctions. Jody is excited to have joined Walk The Line to collaborate with other professionals to help the clients at Walk The Line reach their goals for recovery. Jody joined Walk The Line in 2012. She is CPR and First Aid Certified. Her favorite color is purple.
Shruti Joshi, CBIS, M.H.S, B.P.Th[email protected]
Shruti Joshi graduated in 2007 from CMF’s College of Physical Therapy in India with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. During a clinical rotation at a renowned Adult Neuro-Rehabilitation Center in Pune, India, Shruti had the opportunity to work with young adults with stroke, spinal-cord injury and post-operative spinal level stem-cell surgery. She then accepted a position as a pediatric Physical Therapist at the New Horizons Child Development Center in Mumbai, India. With a keen interest to continue exploring the field of neurological rehabilitation, Shruti then pursued and completed a Masters of Health Sciences degree at the University of Indianapolis with a clinical emphasis on neurological rehabilitation. While pursuing her graduate degree, she concurrently worked as a Physical Therapist in the Pontiac School District with students with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, learning difficulties and chronic spinal cord injuries. In every position she’s held, Shruti has believed in being passionate about helping people discover their abilities and continuously improve their quality of life. Shruti joined Walk The Line in 2011. She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
